3rd Legend Surf Classic

An annual event with many of the original surfers that started the sport in Puerto Rico, uniquely organized to give mature surfers & Legends extra divisions to surf and compete. This is on of the first events recognizing the Legends of Surfing with the old timers as the stars. Almost all the contests during the year concentrate on surfers 18-45 years old … This special event is for surfers 40 to 99 years old. This will be a week full of events in Puerto Rico. There will be several surf film screenings a few nights that week with a featured surf film showing on Friday night. This year invitations are going out to even more legends of surf and finalists of the 1968 World Championships held in here Rincon.

La Vuelta Puerto Rico

La Vuelta Puerto Rico is the ultimate cycling adventure for serious endurance athletes interested in a unique pro-like experience. Circumnavigate the entire island as part of a fast-paced international peloton on this fully supported, three-day, 375-mile event. Choose your peloton and ride at 18-22 mph (avg. 16), 23-28 mph (avg. 18) or 28 mph+! La Vuelta is the only non-competitive cycling event officially endorsed by the Department of Sports and Recreation of the Government of Puerto Rico.

Ironman 70.3 Puerto Rico

Spectators and athletes alike are treated to amazing views on this course, whether from San Beach, Dos Hermanos Bridge or the Caribe Hilton’s San Geronimo grounds. Start your day with a 1.2-mile swim in the protected waters of Condado Lagoon, followed by a 56-mile bike over the northern part of the island to Dorado and on to challenging cross-winds near the Atlantic Ocean. The two-loop, 13.1-mile run course winds through the northern part of the islet with picturesque views of the Atlantic Ocean and Spanish architecture.
