Bonaire is a year-round destination largely due to dive and windsurf tourism. Bonaire is outside the hurricane belt with a brief rainy season, December through March.Bonaire is one of the driest islands in the Caribbean, experiencing minimal rainfall of about 22 inches per year. Temperatures are also relatively stable, ranging from 76 to 84 in January, and from 79 to 89 in July (all in degrees Fahrenheit)

Most flights from the United States connect in Houston, Newark, Miami and Atlanta. United Airlines and Delta Airlines both offer weekend service. Delta also offers a Friday flight seasonally. Insel Air has service from Charlotte and Miami with connections in Curacao. For those connecting in Curacao, local airline Divi Air offers the most reliable interisland service.
For U.S., U.K., and Canadian citizens, a valid, up-to-date Passport is required to enter the country. Citizens from all other countries, including those of the Caribbean, are required to have a valid passport, as well as other possible documentation.
