The first residents of Dolphin Cay were 16 rescued dolphins, who were swept to sea during Hurricane Katrina from their previous home at the Marine Life Oceanarium in Gulfport, Mississippi. Watch their compelling story and learn about their extraordinary ending at Dolphin Cay!

Spend a specialized day training, feeding and caring for dolphins and sea lions at Atlantis in our exclusive Trainer for a Day program. Atlantis is home to over 50,000 marine animals representing over 250 species and you can actually snorkel with them. The all-new Snorkel with Mantas and Aquarist for a Day programs let you dive-in and explore the underwater world of Atlantis. Atlantis Paradise Island, has made a commitment to foster the preservation and conservation of Bahamian coral reefs through an initiative called The Atlantis Blue Project. This essential project is one that will benefit our local community, our future generations and the world through the pioneering work of this project.

Water Park

Aquaventure, Atlantis Paradise Island's water park, is a one-of-a-kind 141-acre waterscape. This non-stop aquatic thrill ride features over twenty million gallons of water, incredible Atlantean-themed towers, thrilling high-speed water slides, a mile-long river ride with rolling rapids and wave surges, 20 swimming areas, a spectacular kids water-play fort and 11 unique and refreshing swimming pools. Water adventures

Learn how scientists and the Atlantis Blue Project Foundation (ABPF) are working to conserve the world’s coral reefs. Ask about Blue Adventures at any Blue Adventures Center operated by Stuart Cove. A portion of the proceeds of each Blue Adventures program is donated to the ABPF by Stuart Cove.

Each snorkel excursion is two and a half hours aboard a 45-foot catamaran. Learn from an Atlantis Aquarist about coral reefs and fish.

The Bahamas have been voted “Best Place to Dive With Big Animals” for the last 10 years in a row – come see why. We offer two-tank, half-day dive trips for certified divers who want to explore walls, reefs and wrecks.

Snuba is a great way to experience the undersea marine life without being scuba certified.

Walking with the Sharks is easy and fun. Using state-of-the-art, clear-glass helmets, you can walk on the bottom of the Shark Exhibit at the Mayan Temple.

Marine habitat

Before getting their first look at Paradise Island, vacationers may not realize the unique opportunity they'll have to explore a truly extraordinary collection of marine habitats and aquarium exhibits—lagoons, caves, coral formations and breathtaking underwater ruins are designed to showcase exotic marine life ranging from dolphins and sharks to rays, barracuda, piranha, eels and even endangered alligator gar. This 18-hole par 72 championship course stretches over 7,100 yards on Atlantis, Paradise Island's peninsula, where crosswinds challenge even the most experienced players.
